Because the site is funded by sponsors, we are not a fully neutral or disinterested authority. We are upfront about that. Treat our award as informed editorial guidance to help you shortlist sensibly, not as independent regulatory advice.
What this does not change
Sponsorship does not change our editorial assessments. Specifically:
- Clinics cannot pay to win the award, to be shortlisted, or to move up the scorecard.
- Our judging criteria are published in full and applied identically to every clinic.
- The 9.8/10 score shown for our winner is an editorial composite compiled from public patient feedback across Google, Trustpilot, WhatClinic — not a verified review count.
- We do not publish star ratings or scores for clinics other than our editorial winner.
Always verify directly
Whichever clinic you choose, always verify its accreditation and the qualifications of the dentist treating you directly with the clinic before booking. Obtain a written treatment plan, and discuss any medical conditions or medications with a registered dental professional.
